It has been noted that that both the rich and poor harm the environment in one way or the other.Example the rich consume a lot of resources more than what they need while the poor still use the very resources in disregard of their welfare.
With increase in poverty, people are forced to use every available resource to satisfy their needs disregard of its conservation status. This is most likely to lead to extinction of some of the significant resources. The rich have enough money to construct anything anywhere and seems to be taking little consideration of the natural resources,
